Project file list
To upload files to make them accessible to your team members,
please go to the project overview and use the 'Files option in the top navigation. You find a list of the already uploaded files followed by a Upload file block.
Click the Browse button to select a file on your drives. Then use Upload to upload the file.
Depending on the size of the file the following page may take a while to follow. In there you can adjust the name how the file is displayed inside Streber and give some comments. The uploaded one is now listed in the File list.
View file details & Multiple versions
Click the
Details link below a file for a detailed view. Here you can upload an updated version (e.g. a corrected version of a script or a new version of a design). Use the
Update file area at the bottom of the page. Again, use
Browse to select a file on your disc and then
upload it to Streber. In the Detail view the new file is now the
'latest' version of the file, followed by the recent versions.
If you uploaded a jpeg the thumbnails on the right are dynamically calculated, which may take a while. If you click on the thumbnail you will still get version which is still scaled down if necessary. To download the original file, use the Links with the original file name behind
'download'.

Frequently ask questions
How can I delete files?
Since Streber is wiki based we are very reluctant with delete functions. Although you can select files in the
listFiles can delete them, you only mark them as deleted. The files will still be listed in the project's
History and can be restored.
There is now way of finally removing a file from the server. You could directly deleted it on with FTP though.
How to delete previous versions?
For now (v0.08) there is no way of deleting a previous version of a file.
How to make a previous version the current one?
For now (v0.08) the only way of making a previous version the current one, would be uploading the file again.
