To start with I wish all of you a very happy new year! Thanks for your support and your interest in Streber.
Restructuring
As you might have noticed we restructured the home of streber quiet a bit:
- The old page at www.streber-pm.org is replaced with the tracker page from streber.pixtur.de. All requests to the old pages are referred to new locations.
- The content of old wiki at wiki.pixtur.de (mediaWiki) has been fully integrated into the new project page.
In near future two more changes will be taken:
- The forum at www.streber-pm.org/phpBB2/ will be closed for posting.
- There will be a register page for new users here.
Let me spent some words to explain this drastic changes. I recently spent a lot of time fighting spam bots in the old forum. Additionally linking / referencing between both places was cumbersome. Updating the old project site was also a lot of work and prone to errors.
Modifying Streber to present an alternative Project pages was not very hard and I think the new tracker will unite the places for documentation, development, distribution and support.
v0.08 upcoming
A lot of issues have been reported for
v0.0704. I hope most of them have been fixed in the new upcoming. Since
burger still needs to finish some of the bookmark stuff, a first release candidate will not be out before 8th of January.
