Very often, when writing comments or discriptions one need to link to another item. Currently I open a second tab, search there and remember the item id.
What we need is a jquery driven popup (it could be a thickbox but a popup browser window would be sufficient). In there we could have:
- an input field for livesearch
- a result list which either:
- checkboxes and an "insert" button below the result list (which is disabled, if no result line is been checked)
- an "insert" button behind each result
- an "Close"-Button to close the window
