Some thoughts
I can understand the need for this feature, but it raises a lot of other issues:
  • It makes automatical timing of tasks very complicated
  • It's not clear how to threat other task-functions (like approving) with this.
I suggest to make this a feature of a special Event task.

Antwort auf Some thoughts
I think we should integrate some sort of "automatic controller", implemented by a cronjob
The automatic controller runs at a specific time (e.g. 4:00 in the night) and collects data. The results of this collected data could lead to automatically opening new tasks, sending status/warning-emails to the PM,...

So the PM could set up some situations in which the automatic controller gives him feedback, for example:
  • if a specific percentage of a task/folder is reached or overreached
  • if a specific task is done or has reached a certain status
  • if theres a new task automatically created
  • ...

Sounds cool...
Maybe in a golden future this could be done with some kind of streber API...
